Who You Ask for Help Matters

When you’re learning to accept that you’ve been living with abuse, and figuring out how to save yourself from it, who you ask for help matters.

Not everyone understands this.

Not everyone is capable of hearing you.

It takes special people to sit and hold space in this experience.

Not everyone can listen, support, and guide.

Because not everyone has been there.

So it doesn’t just matter that you can (and should!) ask for help.

It matters WHO you ask for help.

That’s why we’re here.

Our operations team is comprised of women — all women — who, through their shared experiences, will show you the way to empowered decisions, starting over, establishing a home, and creating peace.

If you’re in need, contact us to start the process of a grant application. (Be sure to review the ways we offer assistance first.)

Contact us if you’re another business or nonprofit (based in or near Northwest Missouri) who would like to join our network, to help domestic abuse and intimate partner violence survivors establish a plan for secure housing, and actualize the resources they need to make it happen.
